Jessika + Blake | A Relaxed Wedding Day at Rustic Daisy Event Barn

Jessika and Blake’s wedding at Rustic Daisy Event Barn was one of those wedding days where everything just flowed really well. They chose to do a first look, had a great wedding day vendor team, and built a timeline that allowed them to spend more time enjoying the day and less time rushing from one thing to the next.

One of my favorite details from the day was Jessika’s bridal style. She wore two dresses and had the cutest light sky-blue suede wedding shoes with oversized blue bows. As a photographer, I always appreciate when couples put thought into the details because they help tell the story of the day.

Before the ceremony, Jessika shared a first look with her dad followed by a first look with Blake. She also surprised Blake with a Rolex watch that matched hers, which was a pretty cool gift exchange and something a little different than what I typically see on wedding days.

Their ceremony took place at Rustic Daisy Event Barn in Nampa, Idaho, one of my favorite venues in the Treasure Valley. One of the biggest benefits of this venue is that couples can accomplish almost everything on-site. There are multiple portrait locations, plenty of space for guests, and beautiful sunset opportunities without ever having to leave the property.

Later in the evening, Jessika and Blake shared the gender of their baby with family and friends during the reception, which added a fun surprise for guests and made the celebration even more personal.

From the thoughtful details to the relaxed timeline and beautiful venue, this was simply a really fun wedding day to photograph.
