A Fall Red Rocks Park Engagement Session

This Red Rocks Park Engagement Session in Denver was an absolute dream come true! When our schedules couldn’t align for a summer shoot in Sun Valley, I felt genuinely bummed. I had been looking forward to capturing Lauren and Clay’s love story in such a stunning setting! However, I refused to let that setback stop me. Instead, I decided to jump on a 6 AM flight to Denver, even though it meant returning home at 2 AM the same day. Talk about a whirlwind! But honestly, every #TRB bride deserves a magical engagement session with her partner and her wedding photographer during this special season of life, and I was determined to make it happen.

As I arrived, I was thrilled to meet this adventurous, goofy, and totally kick-ass couple straight out of Breckenridge, Colorado! Their energy and enthusiasm for life were absolutely infectious. Throughout the session, they bravely faced the mystical Red Rocks fog, embraced the chilly weather, and even pulled off an outfit change with impressive style. At one point, I experienced a brief moment of panic when I thought I had locked my keys in my rental car—let me tell you, my heart skipped a beat! 😬 Nevertheless, their positive spirits shone through, turning potential stress into laughter.

I couldn’t be happier with their choice of Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater as the backdrop for their engagement photos. The dramatic red rocks, combined with the ethereal fog, created a breathtaking canvas that perfectly captured their love. I’ve included some of my absolute favorites below—each image tells a unique story of joy, connection, and adventure.
