Every once in a while, I get to step away from the hustle and bustle of wedding season and dive into something that truly fuels my creativity: styled wedding photoshoots. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of participating in a styled shoot at the gorgeous Chateau des Fleurs in Eagle, Idaho, and it was nothing short of magical. Collaborating with other talented creatives in the industry is always such a rewarding experience, and this shoot, which was set up to resemble a Chateau des Fleurs wedding, reminded me just how much I love what I do.
First, let’s talk about the venue—the stunning Chateau des Fleurs. If you’re a bride dreaming of an elegant and timeless setting for your wedding day, this local gem in Eagle, Idaho, is absolutely worth a visit. The venue boasts an incredible mix of French-inspired architecture and lush gardens that feel straight out of a fairytale. The moment you step onto the property, you’re transported into an atmosphere of sophistication and romance. Whether you envision an outdoor ceremony surrounded by blooming flowers or an intimate indoor reception in one of their exquisite ballrooms, a Chateau des Fleurs wedding offers it all.
This styled shoot was the perfect opportunity to showcase the beauty of the venue while collaborating with an amazing team of local creatives. From the floral arrangements to the tablescapes, every detail was thoughtfully designed to inspire future brides and grooms. It’s always such a treat to partner with florists, planners, bakers, and designers who pour their hearts into their work. Watching their creativity come to life and capturing it all through my lens? That’s the kind of magic that keeps me passionate about storytelling through photography.
For this shoot, we went with a romantic and timeless theme to complement the elegance of a Chateau des Fleurs wedding. The floral designs featured soft blush tones, creamy whites, and hints of greenery that paired perfectly with the chateau’s neutral palette. The tablescape was an absolute showstopper, with vintage-inspired dinnerware, delicate linens, and candles that added a soft, glowing ambiance. Every detail reflected the beauty and charm of the venue itself.
One of the highlights of the day was capturing the couple in the gardens of Chateau des Fleurs. The natural light combined with the meticulously maintained landscaping created some of the most breathtaking portraits. It’s moments like these that make me so grateful for styled shoots. They allow me to play with light, experiment with angles, and capture the kind of romantic storytelling that I strive to deliver to every couple I work with.
Styled shoots like this aren’t just about building a portfolio (though that’s definitely a bonus!); they’re about pushing creative boundaries and connecting with other professionals who share the same passion for weddings. It’s also an opportunity to give future brides and grooms a glimpse into what their big day could look like. If you’re planning a Chateau des Fleurs wedding, I can’t recommend this venue enough. Its charm, elegance, and versatility make it an unforgettable backdrop for any celebration.
To the incredible team of vendors who made this day possible, thank you for your hard work and vision. And to all the future brides out there, if you’re considering a Chateau des Fleurs wedding, let’s chat! I’d love to help tell your love story in one of the most beautiful venues Idaho has to offer.
