A Waters Edge Summer Wedding

First and foremost, CONGRATS to my #TRP couple, Destiny and John, who said “I do” at the Waters Edge wedding venue this past Saturday, September 7th! It’s amazing how life’s path can lead you back into someone’s life for another chapter. I always feel so blessed when couples choose me to capture this special season, especially knowing the plethora of options available, and that’s no less true for Destiny and John. We did their engagement session in the Boise foothills at sunset, which you can check out here. Destiny + John, my hope and prayer for you is that your love continues to grow, and 10, 20, or even 30 years from now, you’ll look back at these images and cherish how this special day unfolded.

For Future Brides: A little about Waters Edge Event Venue:

My absolute favorite, however, was the proximity to the Boise Greenbelt. It provided a gorgeous backdrop of willow trees and beautiful natural light for the bride and groom portraits. If it had been up to me, I would have also photographed the bridal party and family formals there, but we just didn’t have the time. I actually drove the bride and groom to the location, which was special because it gave them their first chance to spend some time alone together and take a moment to breathe and take it all in. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. I also heard they plan to do some renovations later this year, which will only enhance the space 🙂
