Danielle + Steven | Engaged

When Danielle and Steven arrived for their Edwards Greenhouse engagement session, I knew I was in for a fun adventure! First off, they showed up with a DIY door frame sign that Danielle’s father had given them, custom-made and decorated with their wedding date: 06.20.20! I seriously LOVED it!

That in and of itself revealed a few things:

1. They are incredibly creative!
2. Their families are deeply invested in their journey.
3. They are committed to making their engagement photos truly memorable.

Steven is a graduate student research assistant at the University of Idaho, studying exoplanets, and he even climbed the tallest peak in Idaho! Meanwhile, Danielle is a 5th-grade teacher in Moscow who graduated high school with a class of just four people. Together, they are a match made in heaven!

Based on their wedding questionnaire—which I send to all TRP couples to help me understand their vision for engagement photos—I knew Danielle wanted a greenhouse or botanical garden theme, as well as a connection to their alma mater, Boise State University (BSU). My favorite greenhouse in all of Boise is Edwards Greenhouse, which I later discovered she used to visit frequently. Therefore, it was the perfect location!

After our time at the greenhouse, we traveled over to BSU to capture some pictures of the spot where they first met. It was incredibly sweet!
