Alex + Trevor | Engaged

II can’t believe it is spring when I photographed Alex and Trevor’s downtown Boise engagement portraits! It feels like just yesterday we were bundled up in winter coats! But spring definitely sprung and I’m so glad it did! One of my favorite things about spring is all the beautiful blooms and gorgeous weather. It makes for the perfect backdrop for engagement sessions!

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Alex and Trevor’s love story in the heart of downtown Boise. These two are just the sweetest! Trevor asked Alex out after knowing each other at church for a bit. Their first date was at The Fork in downtown Boise – one of my favorite Boise restaurants (get the butter cake)! Alex told me Trevor was amazing at getting her to open up and talk about things she’s passionate about. Isn’t that the sweetest?! And can we talk about Trevor being a knight in shining armor and helping Alex find her car in the garage afterwards? Classic!

Alex and Trevor are the sweetest couple and showed up dressed to impress. They’re fun-loving, homebodies who also love to explore the outdoors. They’re both super smart and love diving deep into different topics. I love meeting couples who share so many common interests as well as capturing their playful personalities.

Downtown Boise provided the perfect setting for their portraits! I cannot wait to show up on their wedding day and work with them all over again. They feel like sweet old friends and that’s exactly how I like it!
