A Boise Depot + Katheryn Albertsons Park Engagement Session

You know those sessions where everything just clicks? Richelle & William’s Boise engagement session at the Depot and Katheryn Albertsons Park was exactly that kind of magic.

From the moment they arrived, it was clear they had taken the time to read my engagement session style guide (photographer hearts everywhere rejoiced!). Thoughtful outfit choices, a great attitude, and even a bottle of champagne for the perfect pop + toast moment—these two were ready to celebrate their love in style.

And wow, did they show up.

We started at the Boise Depot, where the architecture added the perfect touch of elegance and charm. Richelle and William were so natural in front of the camera—giggly, affectionate, and just genuinely happy to be there together. Then we headed over to Katheryn Albertson Park, where the early spring light filtered beautifully through the trees, adding that soft, romantic glow every photographer dreams of.

What I love most about these two is how fun-loving and down-to-earth they are. Their first date? Drinks and pool at Hannah’s downtown where Will danced with his whole heart to Party in the USA. (Tell me that isn’t the most adorable mental image?) Even now, their idea of the perfect date night includes trivia, dinner, card games, and just being together. Whether it’s a puzzle night or watching Marvel movies, their connection runs deep—and it shows in every photo.

A few more things you should know about them? They’ve got two sweet cats (Sebastian & Nora), killer Harry Potter trivia skills, and a mutual love for sour candy and caramel lattes. Oh—and they’re planning a wedding that’s less about tradition and more about having a fun party with the people they love most. Honestly? That sounds perfect to me.

Richelle & William, thank you for trusting me to capture this season of your story. Your energy was contagious, and I left your session smiling ear to ear. I cannot wait for the big day—it’s going to be such a celebration!
