Boise Depot + Katheryn Albertson’s Park

He had me at Peanut Butter M&Ms, and she was sold on Baby Ruths! The fact that they have a cat named Cosmo was just the cherry on top, and it’s no wonder I knew Sydney and Jack would be the perfect #TRPcouple! Their engagement session on this beautiful summer day at the Boise Depot and Kathryn Albertson Park truly showcased just how sweet they are!

Sydney and Jack first crossed paths in August 2017 on their very first day moving into Boise State University. As Honor’s students, they hit it off during a water park activity organized by Sydney’s roommate, and they became instant BFFs—together ever since! If that’s not adorable enough, let me tell you about their engagement story. On February 22, 2022, Jack whisked Sydney away to McCall for a day filled with magic. They strolled on a frozen lake, found a cozy bench where Jack read “The Lord of the Rings” to her (she absolutely loves when he reads!), all while soaking in the breathtaking snowy landscape. It was the perfect moment for Jack to get down on one knee and pop the question!

Now for some fun facts: Jack once devoured 60 rolls of sushi in one sitting and holds two black belts, while Sydney has mastered the basics of every band and orchestra instrument—impressive, right?! I had an absolute blast capturing the love between these two, and I can’t wait for their wedding at Still Water Hollow on June 18, 2023!
