Nothing good comes without sacrifice. Today, as I think back on how scary it was to shoot my first event, I’m thankful. I pushed through my doubts, all in the name of pursuing photography. It wasn’t easy…but I remain thankful. To the friends, clients and family who supported me, thank you. I wouldn’t be here without your belief in my ability to succeed.
It was one year ago this month that I was invited to shoot Homecoming 2016 for a friends daughter and her friends, my first photoshoot! I’m embarrassed to reveal what those photo’s actually looked like, lol (let’s just say I worked hard to cover up uneven light and went cray cray on the color contrasting!). Lightroom is now my BFF and we get along much better 🙂 I always have a good time photographing these beauties, they remind me of my “young’n” years getting ready for my homecoming dances – although, they had way CUTER dresses!! Haaa, anyways, below are a few of my faves, enjoy!
With Love, Always,
