From the first time I met Cheyanne and Alex @thebrimcoffeehouse in Eagle, I knew three things: first, they were a match made in heaven, second, they were going to be the perfect couple to shoot my first wedding, and third, 04.15.17 couldn’t come soon enough! Ofcourse, Alex being a photographer and creative himself, I was a bit nervous (ok, a lot nervous!) but those nerves dwindled after our Engagement Session photo shoot. I was also given an opportunity to shoot Cheyanne’s Enchanted Forest Bridal Shoot, when the dress arrived, so by the time the Wedding Day came around, we had built a solid foundation of trust and respect, so much so that when I had asked her what expectations she had for her wedding day photography and bride/groom portraits, she said, and I quote “You do you, boo!”, xoxo!!

Cheyanne, together with her family, planned their day so beautifully. From the bridesmaid’s flannels, bridal gifts and details (that pearl neckless!), custom made wedding cake topper based on an engagement session photo I shot, guest book and DJ list, a photo collage of their adventures, and Nanna’s brownies – it had all the elements of an unbelievably unique and special wedding day!

One of my favorite parts of the day was during their first look. They each gave each other a special handwritten love letter that they read quietly to themselves while standing on each side of the barn door. When the door was pushed back so the groom could see his bride, Alex’s reaction was priceless. Pure love. I also loved the gift exchange and Cheyanne’s face when she received some beautiful BLING – TEAM MCKEAN FOR THE WIN!!!

Cheyanne and Alex, I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Bali! I’m excited to share this post with you so that you can enjoy your wedding day all over again!!! Thank you for allowing me, and Cloey, the honor of being a part of your wedding day!!!
