I don’t know why this White Barn at Happy Valley wedding made me so emotional during the editing and selection of my #Top100 blog post. Was it knowing their love story and seeing it in full bloom that day? Maybe it was witnessing the close relationship the bride has with her mom and dad, the daddy/daughter first look, the groom’s raw emotion during the first look, or remembering the sweetest handwritten personal vows they exchanged. I mean, the list goes on. One thing is for sure, this will go down as one of TRP’s all-time favorites!

Another thing I know for sure: for all future brides who think the only way to get their man to show emotion is the first time they see each other walking down the aisle (the traditional way), that is simply not the case. There is something special about that private First Look moment a bride and groom share together before they walk down the aisle. It’s that quiet, and perhaps the only, moment you get to pause and share just with the love of your life, when his eyes are completely locked in on you and you alone, and you privately exchange emotions and words before the big walk down the aisle! #FirstLookForTheWin!

Oh, and one more thing… make sure the FOB has an extra pair of pants! (OMG, you just had to be there to understand this one, but I did include my fave pic to capture the moment lol!) Typically not a TRP #Top100, but it made it because I just loved everything about it, especially how dad handled it! #DadGoals

Megan and Ryan (and Megan’s mom, lol, she was at our initial meeting after all), there are no words to express my gratitude for selecting and entrusting me with your special day. It’s love stories and family/friends like yours that truly make me love what I do and happily limp around the next day. 🙂 My prayer and hope for you is that your love will continue to grow and 10, 20, 30 years from now, you’ll look back at these images and cherish and remember how this special day unfolded.
