With sweeping views of the majestic Sawtooth Mountains and the warmth and charm of a historic ski town, Sun Valley is the idyllic wedding destination! The stunning River Run Day Lodge venue sits at the base of Bald Mountain and has floor-to ceiling fireplaces, elegant chandeliers, and expansive windows boasting the most gorgeous views! I had the honor of photographing this wedding in the beautiful fall (albeit it did rain on us most of the day!)! Between the bold colors of the great outdoors, the magical catholic church, and the view from the lodge that overlooked Bald Mountain’s incredible slope-side setting, I was in a photographer’s heaven!

My favorite moments of this day were the bride and bridesmaid first look and watching Evan’s face as he saw his bride for the first time walking down the aisle. The genuine joy that exuded from the two of them made their portraits captivating!! Equally as sweet was the first look with Serena’s bridesmaids, a first for me, it so special to see the sisterhood and genuine love for each other.
